Navigating Your Journey

PFLAG Charlotte’s Navigating Your Journey is a powerful educational program for parents, caregivers and other supportive adults of LGBTQIA+ folks.

Whether you are new to the world of LGBTQIA+ allyship or are a loud and proud advocate, we will meet you where you are. This program offers a safe and welcoming environment for attendees to hear about others lived experiences through personal stories, as well as learn about LGBTQIA+ nomenclature, local resources, and more.

As a participant, you’ll review LGBTQ+ terminology, learn about common challenges often faced by LGBTQ+ individuals and how you can help your loved one mitigate those challenges and build resilience, discuss how part of being an ally means caring for yourself, and connect with other parents and caregivers.
