Peer Support Facilitator Training

Are you interested in helping PFLAG Charlotte facilitate Peer Support Meetings?

PFLAG Charlotte is looking for volunteers who can co-facilitate in-person meetings in Charlotte, North Meck, Union County, and nondenominational Faith & Allyship meetings at Selwyn Avenue Presbyterian Church. We also need facilitators for our on-line monthly meetings via Zoom.

Join us for this two-day workshop to learn more about PFLAG Charlotte, meet other volunteers, and develop your facilitation skills. Please register for both days. Dinner provided.

NOTE: We have changed the format from a one to a two-day training, in order for us to practice together. This training is for all current facilitators and anyone who would like to become a facilitator. We still recommend that folks attend 2 peer support meetings AND do the training before they co-facilitate with a facilitator who has more experience.
